Joshua Pickering, David Blake, Oliver Read and Callum Bamforth were all on target as Hull SC came from behind to claim another strong home victory.
Hull Sporting Club produced a strong response after falling behind early, coming from a goal down to secure a 4-1 victory over Fishers AFC at Pelican Park Playing Fields.
The visitors made the brighter start and opened the scoring in the 14th minute through Jack Simpson, giving Hull SC an early test in their East Riding County League Division 4 fixture.
Rather than allowing the setback to disrupt them, the Reds grew into the match and began to take control. Joshua Pickering brought Hull SC level in the 34th minute, finishing an important equaliser that shifted momentum back towards the home side.
With the game balanced at the break, Hull SC returned for the second half with greater control and purpose. David Blake put the Reds ahead from the penalty spot in the 58th minute, giving the home side the advantage their pressure had deserved.
Hull SC continued to push forward and made the result more secure in the closing stages. Oliver Read added the third in the 76th minute, before Callum Bamforth struck four minutes later to complete the scoring.

The result was built on patience, composure and a strong reaction to the early goal. Hull SC showed maturity after going behind, stayed organised and finished the match with real authority.
Four different scorers underlined the attacking depth within the squad, while the second-half performance showed the team’s ability to manage the game and turn pressure into goals.
For the Reds, it was another important league win and another sign of the group’s growing confidence at Pelican Park Playing Fields.
