Hull SC started strongly through goals from Callum Bamforth, Jacob Bennett and Jordan Clayton, but Brandesburton AFC fought back after the break to earn a 3-3 draw.
Hull Sporting Club were held to a 3-3 draw by Brandesburton AFC at Pelican Park Playing Fields after a strong first-half performance was cancelled out by a second-half fightback.
The Reds made a positive start and took the lead in the 14th minute through Callum Bamforth, who finished well to give Hull SC early control of the match.
Hull SC continued to build momentum and doubled their advantage in the 23rd minute, with Jacob Bennett finding the net to put the home side in a strong position.
The first-half performance improved further before the break as Jordan Clayton added a third in the 38th minute, giving Hull SC a commanding 3-0 lead at half-time.
Brandesburton AFC responded after the restart and pulled one back in the 51st minute through Trevor Brooks, giving the visitors a route back into the contest.
Brooks struck again seven minutes later to make it 3-2, shifting the momentum and putting pressure back on Hull SC.

The Reds worked to regain control, but Brandesburton continued to push and eventually found their equaliser in the 88th minute through Christian Hadgraft.
The late goal meant Hull SC had to settle for a point from a match they had controlled during the opening half.
It was a result that showed both the quality Hull SC can produce when they play with confidence, and the importance of managing momentum across the full match.
For Hull SC, the draw was a frustrating outcome, but also a clear lesson in concentration, game management and finishing the job after building a strong lead.
