Hull SC showed real cup character against BOCA Seniors, recovering from two goals down before late strikes from Callum Bamforth and Paul Goldie sealed a dramatic victory.
Hull Sporting Club continued their cup journey with a dramatic 4-3 victory over BOCA Seniors at Pelican Park Playing Fields.
The visitors made the stronger start and opened the scoring in the 9th minute through Francis Ezebuiro, giving Hull SC an early test in their East Riding FA County Qualifying Cup second round tie.
BOCA Seniors doubled their advantage in the 27th minute through David Oni, leaving the Reds with work to do before half-time.
Hull SC found a way back into the contest in the 38th minute, with David Blake converting from the penalty spot to reduce the deficit and shift momentum before the break.
The second half brought a stronger response from Hull SC. Blake stepped up again in the 58th minute and converted his second penalty of the match, bringing the home side level and giving the Reds renewed belief.
BOCA Seniors struck again in the 76th minute through Emmanuel Oyeleye, but Hull SC refused to let the tie slip away.
