Hull SC responded after falling behind in the second half, with Aaron Gouldthorpe’s 79th-minute goal securing a point at Steve Prescott Sports Centre.

Hull Sporting Club were forced to settle for a point after a 1-1 draw away at Fishers AFC in the East Riding County League Division 4.

The Reds travelled to Steve Prescott Sports Centre #1 looking to continue their league campaign, but were made to work hard in a tight and competitive contest.

The first half proved difficult for both sides, with chances limited and neither team able to find the breakthrough before the interval.

Fishers AFC opened the scoring in the 55th minute through Lonnie Hairsine, giving the home side the advantage and leaving Hull SC with work to do.

Hull SC had to stay composed after falling behind. The Reds continued to push forward, looking for a way back into the match while avoiding letting the game open up further.

The response eventually arrived in the 79th minute, when Aaron Gouldthorpe found the net to bring Hull SC level and shift momentum back towards the visitors.
