Hull SC produced a composed away performance at Gilberdyke Phoenix FC, with Jordan Clayton’s opener and Jacob Bennett’s second-half hat-trick securing a 4-0 win.

Hull Sporting Club delivered a strong away performance, beating Gilberdyke Phoenix FC 4-0 in the East Riding County League Division 4.

The Reds started with focus and patience, working their way into the match and looking to control possession away from home.

Hull SC found the breakthrough in the 17th minute through Jordan Clayton, who finished well to give the visitors an important early lead.

That goal gave Hull SC a platform to build from, but the Reds had to stay disciplined and organised as Gilberdyke looked for a response.

After the break, Hull SC took greater control of the contest. Jacob Bennett scored in the 51st minute to double the lead and give the Reds breathing room.

Bennett struck again in the 65th minute, adding his second of the match and putting Hull SC firmly in control of the away fixture.

This was a strong away performance. We controlled large parts of the game, stayed patient after going ahead, and showed real quality in the second half. The clean sheet was just as pleasing as the goals.
