Hull SC had to fight back after AFC Willerby turned the game around, with Callum Bamforth’s 88th-minute goal rescuing a point at Pelican Park Playing Fields.
Hull Sporting Club were forced to settle for a point after a dramatic 3-3 draw with AFC Willerby at Pelican Park Playing Fields.
The Reds made a positive start and took the lead in the 11th minute through Aaron Gouldthorpe, who finished well to give Hull SC early control of the contest.
AFC Willerby responded before half-time, with Jake Huntley finding the net in the 34th minute to bring the visitors level and shift momentum back into the balance.
The second half brought another change in the game. Reece Shipley struck in the 58th minute to put Willerby ahead, leaving Hull SC with work to do.
Hull SC found their response in the 67th minute, when Callum Bamforth scored to level the match and give the Reds renewed belief.
But Willerby struck again just six minutes later, with Huntley scoring his second of the game in the 73rd minute to restore the visitors’ advantage.

That response arrived in the 88th minute, when Bamforth scored his second of the game to make it 3-3 and rescue a point for the home side.
It was a game of momentum swings, with Hull SC starting strongly, falling behind, responding once, and then needing another late reaction to avoid defeat.
Bamforth’s brace was the key contribution for the Reds, while Gouldthorpe’s early goal gave Hull SC the platform before the game turned into a difficult contest.
