Hull Sporting Club adopts and enforces The Football Association’s Safeguarding Children Policy for youth football activities. This framework establishes the standards, responsibilities, and procedures required to safeguard all children and young people participating in football, ensuring their welfare, safety, dignity, and wellbeing remain the club’s highest priority. The policy covers safer recruitment, club welfare officer responsibilities, anti-bullying measures, acceptable conduct when working with young people, safeguarding reporting procedures, whistleblowing protections, and club-wide safeguarding accountability. Hull Sporting Club applies these standards across all youth players, academy participants, coaches, staff, volunteers, committee members, parents, carers, and anyone involved in delivering youth football activity.
