Hull Sporting Club adopts and enforces The Football Association’s Safeguarding Children Policy for clubs operating adult teams that include under-18 players.
This framework establishes the standards, responsibilities, and procedures required to protect children and young people participating in football, ensuring their welfare, safety, dignity, and wellbeing remain the highest priority.
The policy covers safeguarding responsibilities, safer recruitment requirements, acceptable behaviour when working with young people, whistleblowing procedures, anti-bullying standards, and clear reporting pathways for safeguarding concerns.
Hull Sporting Club applies these standards across all players, coaches, staff, volunteers, committee members, and anyone working with or around young participants within the club environment.
